Kerrie Glassman, MS, PT
With 24 years experience, Kerrie Lyons-Glassman is a highly respected physical therapist who specializes in hands on treatment for sports medicine and orthopedic injuries, utilizing the most current evidence-based practice. Having worked extensively with various professional and semi-professional sport teams via the US Athletic Training Center (New York Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, Danbury Whalers), Kerrie has assisted athletes in returning to sport as quickly as possible. Kerrie has also worked with several dance companies, including the New York Knick City Dancers, The Rockettes, The Alvin Ailey Dance Theater and The Joffrey Ballet School.
Kerrie’s experience includes working in the areas of muscle energy, myofascial release, cupping, taping, plyometric and core stabilization. Kerrie is a certified Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) provider, as well as certified in Active Release Technique (ART) and the Graston Technique. She is also certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) which enables her to provide a full-body assessment and identify impairments that may be contributing to the current problem.
A graduate of Russell Sage College and Sage Graduate School, Kerrie has been treating patients in Fairfield County, Westchester County and New York City for over 23 years and has maintained close relationships with top orthopedic and neurosurgeons across the tri-state area. She collaborates well with professionals in other disciplines such as nutritionists, psychologists, and pain management services to optimize on the whole patient.
